Falkner Gardens sets itself apart through its design/build model, allowing for a seamless process to bring your dreams to life.

  • Peter Falkner

    Founder

Born and raised in Alabama, Peter Falkner has been gardening his entire life. From a young age, Peter worked summers with his grandfather; tending to his farm and garden. Working on his family’s land, Peter learned everything from vegetable gardening to building lakes and ponds. But most importantly, he learned to truly appreciate the beauty of southern landscapes and fell in love with the nuances of gardening and landscape design. Convinced he could turn this passion into a career, Peter committed himself to the study of horticulture and landscape design at Auburn University. Now for over two decades, Peter has been shaping landscapes across the Southeast and beyond with his team at Falkner Gardens.

An avid outdoorsman, when Peter is not working he can be found spending time with his wife Marchelle and their two sons, Wynn and Frank. Their favorite activities include hunting, fly fishing, spending time on their farm and pretty much anything outside.

  • Ben Brock

    Project Manager

Ben serves as project manager for Falkner Gardens. Ben is from Chattanooga, TN and attended Mississippi State University where he earned both an undergraduate degree in business administration as well as an MBA.

When asked about his favorite part of his job, Ben says, “I really enjoy the creativity and customization of the projects we do. I also love watching a project come together from start to finish.”

When Ben isn’t at work, you can find him playing sports, especially soccer, and golfing with friends. He and his wife are also avid travelers and enjoy hanging with friends, hunting, working out, playing pickleball, tennis, or golf together, and going on the lake for water sports.

  • Mac Edmonson

    Operations Manager

Originally from Pulaski, Tennessee, Mac serves as Falkner Gardens’ operational manager. Mac attended Auburn University and earned a degree in landscape horticulture. He then worked as a horticulturist at Augusta National for several years before joining the Falkner team over five years ago.

Mac says, “My favorite part of this job is seeing where a project starts and how it ends. I love coming back to a project a few years down the road to see how everything looks once it has grown in.”

When Mac isn’t working, he’s spending time in the kitchen with his wife Holly trying out new recipes. You can also find him enjoying any outdoor activities with his two sons, Hudson and Hamilton, especially golf, fishing, or camping.

Trapper

Trapper is Peter’s springer spaniel puppy and, naturally, the Falkner Gardens mascot. If we’re working on a project together, chances are you’ll see Trapper regularly. When Trapper isn’t on a job site, you can find him retrieving birds in the field or swimming just about anywhere there’s water.
